Dear colleagues,
With this email we would cordially like to invite you to consider
submitting a contribution to the special issue "History for Physics:
Contextualizing modern developments in the foundations of quantum theory",
generously hosted and supported by EPJ H and edited by us.
Therein, we welcome *"tandem papers"* that will jointly feature two parts: *a
part written by a historian* of physics and a *part written by a
physicist. *(Please note that we will be glad to help in finding matching
co-authors for a tandem paper).
This is adapted by the so-called tandem talk, the key format of a series of
symposia (on history of quantum foundations
<https://www.mpiwg-berlin.mpg.de/page/history-physics> and of quantum
gravity <https://www.mpiwg-berlin.mpg.de/page/history-physics-0>), where a
physicist and a historian of physics teamed up to give talks on the same
aspect of physics.
*Deadline for submission is July 31, 2022* and all the details can be found
at the following link:

.
We are very much looking forward to your contributions and please feel free
to forward the information about this open CfP to possibly interested
friends and colleagues.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to us should you have any queries.
Best wishes,
Flavio Del Santo and Bernadette Lessel
