This retreat will take place from 17-23 June 2023. Your hosts will be Suman Seth (Cornell), Leah McClimans (University of South Carolina), and Allison Marsh (University of South Carolina). The retreat's theme is Medicine, Technology and Marginalized Populations. This retreat offers five full days of writing in a country inn surrounded by acres of woodland.
This opportunity is open to any scholar with a Ph.D. across the Science, Technology & Society disciplines with a project that fits our theme and can be reasonably completed during the retreat.
The AJI will select approximately eight participants. If selected, the AJI will reimburse economy air or ground transportation to the event venue; accommodation and meals while in residence will also be covered. The deadline for applications is 1 December 2022.
